Arabic ads for your Shopify store, made for Gulf shoppers

Updated

The short answer

Paste a product link from your Shopify store and CamelShot reads the name, description, up to 5 photos and price, and tries to detect your store currency. Even if your page is in English, you can have the ad written in Arabic or English. You get four designs at 3:4, 1:1 or 9:16, and each image costs one credit. Password-protected stores cannot be read.

Key takeaways

  • We read the public product data behind a Shopify link, with no app and no permissions.
  • We try to detect your store currency, and you review the price before designing.
  • An English product page can still become an Arabic ad: you pick the language per campaign.
  • A password-protected store cannot be read, so enter those details by hand.

How CamelShot reads a Shopify product

Shopify stores publish each product's data in a public format, and we read:

  • Name and description as on the product page, with the selling points summarised for you to review.
  • Up to 5 photos, starting with the product's main image, and you choose one as the reference.
  • The price shown for the product. If it has variants at different prices, check that it is the price of the variant you are advertising.
  • The currency from your store's public data. We support SAR, the other Gulf currencies, JOD and USD; for any other currency the price stays empty for you to fill in.

An English store page, an Arabic ad

Many Shopify stores in the Gulf are written in English while their customers browse in Arabic. In CamelShot you choose the copy language for each campaign: concise Arabic written for a Saudi audience, or clear English. Product and brand names keep their official spelling.

If the product name is in English and the ad is in Arabic, read the name inside the image carefully. Spelling of foreign names is one of the things that most often needs a second look.

What the Shopify import does not do

Situation What happens
Store is password-protected before launch We cannot read it, so upload photos and enter details by hand
Price or stock changes Nothing syncs, so update the product in your library before the next pack
Unsupported currency The price stays empty for you to type
Product with several variants We take one price, so check it

The import is not an app from the Shopify App Store and never writes anything to your store.

What to check before you post

  • Compare the product in each design with the reference photo: shape, colour, label and number of pieces.
  • Confirm the price and currency, especially for products with variants.
  • The offer pack shows the listed price only and never adds a discount. Put the terms of any real offer in the ad text.
  • If you need a design in another format, request a new version for one credit; the original stays saved.

Frequently asked questions

My store is in English. Will it work?
Yes. We import the details as they are and you choose the ad language, Arabic or English. Check the product name inside the image if its language differs from the ad.
How is my store currency detected?
We read it from your store's public Shopify data during import. If we cannot recognise it, the price stays empty and you can edit the details before designing.
Do I need to install a Shopify app?
No. The import reads the public product page only, asks for no permissions and does not sync stock.
Which photo is used in the designs?
You pick one product photo as the reference for the whole pack. Choose the one that shows the complete product in clear light.
